Warren Barnes was born in 1855 in what was then the lumber industry’s heartland, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin. While still a student, he was apprenticed to a carpenter and designer and honed his skills while traveling across the state of Wisconsin. He then opened his own woodworking shop in Milwaukee and began designing and crafting beautiful wood products for customers all over the United States.
